Students from Sofia University visited Milara

A few weeks ago, Milara’s plant in Plovdiv, Bulgaria was visited by Students from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” under the OASIS project. The group of  consisted of three lecturers and 47 students majoring in Geography, Geography and English, Regional Development and Politics, Geospatial Systems and Technology.

The OASIS project is an initiative for cooperation between higher education institutions (HEIs), research centers, a pan-European network of institutions and enterprises. OASIS aims to develop and share support capabilities in the field of Open Science to drive the digital transformation and sustainable development of the EU. The project facilitates the adoption of OS technologies in education through practical applications, training and mentoring activities to manage real educational and work-oriented problems in order to increase openness in intellectual property.

During the tour, colleagues from Milara presented the technologies our company is using to support the microchip manufacturing and electric car industry. Some of the students had the opportunity to drive the electric truck produced at the Milara plant.
