High School Students Get First-Hand Experience in Semiconductor Industry at Milara Factory

A group of 22 students from the 11th grade, specializing in Software and Hardware Sciences at High School Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov in Parvomay, had the unique opportunity to visit Milara’s factory in Plovdiv.

The students were warmly welcomed by Milara’s CEO, Mr. Krassy Petkov, and were introduced to the world of semiconductor manufacturing through a presentation by Managing Director Mr. Radoslav Makaveev. The presentation covered the company’s operations and the critical role of the semiconductor industry in modern technology.

During the visit, students witnessed first-hand how microchips are manufactured and learned about the advanced technologies and expertise required in the process. A detailed factory tour provided insight into the complex steps of semiconductor production, giving future engineers a glimpse into their potential careers.

This initiative is part of Milara’s ongoing commitment to inspiring young talent and fostering interest in Bulgaria’s electronics, robotics, and semiconductor industries. With plans to continue this program, the company aims to ignite a passion for engineering in the next generation and encourage more young people to pursue careers in this high-tech field.
