10 years after its founding in 2014, “Milara – Center for Robotics and Automation” has been modernized and equipped with the latest generation robots and stands from the production range of Milara. The Plovdiv Branch of the Technical University received brand new test stands for control of electric drives, which will allow students to get acquainted in detail with the configuration, programming and adjustment of robotic systems. The lab also has 3 workstations with specialized robots used in semiconductor industry and microchip manufacturing.
Milara International is one of the longest and most successful partners of Technical University-Sofia, Plovdiv Branch. At the opening ceremony of the renovated Robotics Center, the two owners of Milara – Eng. Krassimir Petkov and Mr. Yordan Naydenov were awarded with a diploma for successful cooperation and an honorary plaque for significant contribution to the development and promotion of the Technical University. The award was presented to them by the Director of the Plovdiv Branch Assoc. Prof. Nikola Shakev.
With the support of Milara the student robotics club laboratory was also renovated. In addition the university received as a donation an electric car brand “Sevic 500”, manufactured in the new production facility of Milara in Plovdiv.
